ONE SUMMER

UNLIMITED ADVENTURE

Campers Ages 5-17

We know camp is where growth happens. It’s where kids discover confidence, build meaningful friendships, gain independence, and realize they are capable of more than they ever imagined. At YMCA of Northern Utah Overnight Camps, we create intentionally designed experiences that challenge campers, connect them to the outdoors, and help them grow in a safe, supportive community. Whether it’s a first-time camper trying something new, a teen stepping into leadership, or a group of friends sharing an unforgettable adventure, we believe the experiences and lessons gained at camp can have a lasting impact long after summer ends.

YMCA ADVENTURE PROGRAMS

Backpacking, Rock Climbing, and Canoeing are the essential blocks of YMCA Adventure Programs. Adventure is more than where you go....it’s what you discover along the way! Our Adventure Programs use the inherent challenges and opportunities of backcountry recreation to help teens discover what they are capable of. Through intentionally designed experiences in the mountains, on the water, and beyond, participants learn to navigate difficult moments, rely on others, and push beyond limiting beliefs. They build resilience by working through challenges, community by learning to give and seek support, and perspective by seeing themselves, their potential, and the world through a different lens. This is adventure with purpose where real experiences build skills, confidence, and growth that extend far beyond the trail.

Financial Assistance

Great Camp Experiences Should Be Within Reach

Every child deserves the opportunity to experience the friendships, confidence, and personal growth that come from summer camp, regardless of their family's financial circumstances. That's why the YMCA offers generous financial assistance, flexible pricing options, and easy-to-use cost calculators to help families explore what camp could look like for their budget. We're committed to reducing financial barriers and making meaningful camp experiences accessible to more families.

Camp Roger & Camp Mill Hollow operate under a Special Use Permit issued by the Heber-Kamas Ranger District on the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest.

This program is supported by the YMCA of the USA's Strategic Initiatives Fund.
